In the case of larger accident damage, especially to the rear of the vehicle, at times the vehicles fuel tank will need to be removed to allow access to repair or replace areas that are damaged. This storage tank should then be stored in a Dangerous Goods area that is secluded and closed off from the general workshop and any areas where grinding or welding is carried out. This area should be well ventilated and have all appropriate fire extinguishers in place.
